Dermal Filler Dissolving

Occasionally dermal fillers need to be dissolved when the aesthetic treatment has not produced the desired outcome. Dermal fillers can be dissolved by injecting an enzyme called Hyalase® (Hyaluronidase) into the treated site. A patch test is required prior to treatment which involves a small intradermal injection in the forearm which is observed for signs of reaction. If a negative result is observed after 30 minutes we can proceed with treatment. Please note you will need to remain at the clinic for 60 minutes after the procedure for observation. The results are typically noticeable within 24 to 48 hours, although it may take a few days for the full effect to be seen. Once injected Hyalase® continues to work for up to two weeks therefore it is advised to wait a minimum of two weeks before receiving further dermal filler treatment. Occasionally further treatment with Hyalase® may be necessary to completely dissolve the filler depending on dermal filler viscosity and the amount injected.

Aqualyx is a solution of Deoxycholic Acid, a compound naturally produced in the liver to aid the digesion of fat. CO₂ laser is the gold standard for skin rejuvenation. It is ideal for patients seeking more dramatic results than a peel or microneedling can provide. It is highly effective for eye rejuvenation, improving skin laxity and crepey texture around the eyes and eyelid tightening.

Many patients achieve excellent results in one session. However, for advanced wrinkles a series of treatments may be recommended. The procedure takes around 60 minutes and is generally well tolerated though can be uncomfortable. Topical numbing cream is applied for maximum comfort.

Taylor did an amazing job for my second session of RF microneedling. We used numbing cream this time which made a big difference. Taylor made sure I was comfortable throughout The treatment. I am excited to see the results and have my next session.

I know I’m not the easiest client as I’m so particular, so I knew I could only trust Taylor with my lips (and my face for that matter!!). I asked for more symmetry and to erase the creases without adding too much volume to my lips , and she got them spot on. So natural, balanced and just the right fullness.
