Dermal Filler Dissolving

Occasionally dermal fillers need to be dissolved when the aesthetic treatment has not produced the desired outcome. Dermal fillers can be dissolved by injecting an enzyme called Hyalase® (Hyaluronidase) into the treated site. A patch test is required prior to treatment which involves a small intradermal injection in the forearm which is observed for signs of reaction. If a negative result is observed after 30 minutes we can proceed with treatment. Please note you will need to remain at the clinic for 60 minutes after the procedure for observation. The results are typically noticeable within 24 to 48 hours, although it may take a few days for the full effect to be seen. Once injected Hyalase® continues to work for up to two weeks therefore it is advised to wait a minimum of two weeks before receiving further dermal filler treatment. Occasionally further treatment with Hyalase® may be necessary to completely dissolve the filler depending on dermal filler viscosity and the amount injected.

Jawline Contouring 1ml per side (2ml in total)

Tear troughs are the grooves which sit between the lower eyelid and upper cheek. They can be due to genetics or volume loss through ageing, which can cause dark circles and hollows. Using a micro cannula, we can strategically place dermal filler in the tear trough area to restore volume, reduce dark shadows and hollows. It can also improve fine lines and wrinkles and hydrate the under eye area to give a brighter, fresher and more wide awake appearance. Marionette Lines (mouth to chin)

Marionette Lines refer to the lines that form from the corners of the mouth into the jowls. They often occur because of volume loss around the corners of the mouth combined with increased laxity of the skin from the cheeks that occurs with age. Fat Dissolving Large Area x2 Sessions

Aqualyx is a solution of Deoxycholic Acid, a compound naturally produced in the liver to aid the digesion of fat. When injected into fatty tissue it works by disrupting the membrane of the fat cells leading to cell breakdown and the released fatty acids are converted to energy and metabolised. Treatable areas include the chin, abdomen, arms, thighs, bra strap and love handles. By following a healthy lifestyle with regular exercise the fat should not return in that area and results can be permanent. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a non-surgical procedure for skin rejuvenation and hair loss.
